General Description
Reporting to the General Manager of ANDRITZ Bonetti Co. Inc., this position will be responsible for the accounting at the assigned plant entity, including the month end close process, analysis, SOX compliance and general plant administrative support.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Responsible for preparation and analysis of plant financial statements including journal entry preparation and general ledger reconciliations.
Analyze and record accruals.
Analyze inventory movement, includes job costs review, PPV and annual Physical Inventory.
Responsible for preparation and upload of plant reporting package.
Responsible for the monthly inter-company billing to subsidiaries, when necessary.
Review weekly Purchase Requisitions.
Review and approve disbursements for submission to Shared Services.
Provide financial analysis for Plant Manager monthly.
Participate in Division Acct. Call and other meetings as required.
Report on Damages, Waste and Capital Spend monthly.
Actively participate in SOX required activities to support the division or group.
Provide requested documentation for Internal and External financial, ISO and Provincial audits.
Manage monthly headcount and quarterly Intercompany reporting in SAP BO
Manage the lease reporting to Austria and record journal entries provided monthly
Actively manage month end close
Manage annual and quarterly budgeting
Supervise store physical inventory
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 5 - 10 years experience. Previous experience in a plant location manufacturing environment is ideal. Also open to recent college graduates with an Accounting/Finance degree.
Languages: English
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Knowedlge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Must have strong attention to details
Good planning and organizational skills
Strong analytical ability required.
Knowledge of standard accounting system along with understanding of manufacturing variances.
Prior experience in preparation of manufacturing P&L's and related financial statements.
Prior experience in preparation of forecasts and budgets.
Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
Ability to present results.
SAGE and/or SAP experience a plus.
