As an Industrial Engineer you will:
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows and other information to understand the methods and activities of manufacturing and services requirements.
Determine how to deliver services with maximum efficiency using Six Sigma methods.
Assist management with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the manufacturing line process/Train all manufacturing technicians and operators on SOP.
Analyze and conduct a time study to increase production line efficiency with quality output.
Design training matrixes for production line technicians and operators/Train and test the line technicians and operators routinely to ensure that their skill set qualifications are up to date.
Compile each department's Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing performance data and analyze them to revise standard operating procedures (SOP) to meet production performance objectives.
Analyze and evaluate any process change request from other departments before releasing to production lines.
Support Production Department (PD)/Quality Assurance (QA) for finding the cause of poor quality and assist with the development of ways to reduce failure in the production process using Six Sigma methods.
This is a Full Time Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Process, Manufacturing (or similar engineering discipline/relevant education concentration) - highly preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft applications - highly preferred.
Detailed oriented, able to concentrate on the work assigned
Able to use computer peripherals required to complete testing operations
Excellent listening, oral communication skills
Having ability to communicate and support other departments.
Need to have sufficient knowledge of the process on the lines
Require knowledge for MS Office
Pay Rate: $26-$28/hr.
