How will you make an impact?
As a Planner, you will be the key customer interface for demand planning and shipment information, helping to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You’ll develop and maintain a feasible operational plan, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in planning metrics.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with the Business Unit (BU) and customers to create a demand plan through the Demand Management Process.


• Develop a Master Schedule by analyzing resources, including material and capacity requirements, and load the schedule into Jabil's ERP system.


• Create and maintain a feasible production plan, working closely with the operations team to ensure successful execution.


• Generate a revenue forecast and monitor actual performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to meet revenue targets.


• Track planning metrics and drive for continuous improvement in performance.


• Adhere to company security policies and standard operating procedures.


• Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.

How will you get here?

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience, particularly in materials or planning.


• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents like safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to address groups of customers or employees effectively.


• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.


• Problem-solving skills with the capacity to handle standardized situations involving multiple variables.


• Math skills, including calculating discounts, interest, percentages, and geometry basics.


• Strong logistics skills to align with business goals and develop strategies for target achievement.


• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP and ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing or planning environment.


• 1-2 years of relevant materials-related experience.
