Summary:
Performs a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests and experimental procedures for the purposes of original research which generally are within a well-defined body of scientific knowledge and typically contribute to larger research efforts of independent investigators. The pay range for this position is $57,247 - $72,203 annually which includes a comprehensive benefit package.




Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience


1. Master's degree and the equivalent of eighteen (18) months of full-time professional research experience in a laboratory, clinical or scientific research environment; or
2. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of thirty (30) months of full-time professional research experience in a laboratory, clinical or scientific research environment.


NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.


Preferred Qualifications:


The preferred candidate should have hands-on handling of the manufacture of cell therapy products (dendritic, T cells, viral vector production (lenti and retro)) for clinical studies, working the GMP cleanroom environment; knowledge of FACT, cGMP, and FDA biologics regulations; and project management skill set, team/trainer in GMP setting. The preferred candidate should have knowledge of commonly utilized tools in cell therapy or blood processing laboratories (examples CliniMACS Plus and CliniMACS Prodigy, Cocoon) - including: Blood Processing techniques - Manual Ficoll, CliniMACS Plus / CliniMACS Prodigy, PCR/ qPCR); BSC and GMP experience.
