Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the Microsoft Suite-ensuring alignment with Swinerton's business objectives and digital transformation goals.
Oversee the operations and support a broad range of platforms, ensuring they are effectively deployed, optimized, and continuously meet evolving business requirements.
Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize enhancements to business applications, driving improvements that support scalability, operational efficiency, and proactive risk management.
Monitor application performance and user adoption, making data-driven recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
Ensure robust governance and compliance practices across all business applications, mitigating risk and aligning with Swinerton's enterprise-wide policies.
Lead the end-to-end management of business applications, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects aligned with business objectives.
Plan, manage, and track all business application initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining key milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to drive successful outcomes.
Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing clear and concise updates to senior management and stakeholders on progress, risks, and next steps.
Design and implement comprehensive training programs for end-users, ensuring effective adoption and optimal utilization of business applications across the organization.
Perform impact assessments, evaluate organizational change readiness, and identify key stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and alignment with business objectives.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements to optimize the performance of business applications.
Implement best practices and stay current with industry trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve any application-related issues.
Ensure seamless integration of enterprise applications with other IT systems, enabling efficient and cohesive business operations across the organization.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, including Microsoft and other service providers, to ensure optimal performance and support for FP&A tools and risk management platforms.
Negotiate and manage contracts and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring high-quality service delivery, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs.
Continuously monitor vendor performance addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain service standards and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with vendors to explore new features, updates, and technologies that can enhance business application functionality and drive innovation.
Act as the primary point of contact for vendor escalations, facilitating effective communication between internal teams and service providers to resolve any critical issues.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of vendor performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs, ensuring compliance and making recommendations for improvements when necessary.
Minimum Skills and Experience:
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data management disciplines, including data integration and data modeling
At least 8 years of experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift, DBX SQL) and a strong aptitude for learning new tools
Proven experience in establishing a modern data infrastructure that supports predictive analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI)
Deep expertise in modern data architecture practices, patterns, and standards
Demonstrated expertise in setting up data governance programs and data quality initiatives
Strong proficiency in SQL or Python, with a background in building data models
Experience processing and integrating large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
Proven expertise in data cleaning and wrangling, utilizing the most efficient tools and applications for these tasks
Demonstrated ability to design, build, and manage data pipelines, encompassing data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata, and workload management
Extensive knowledge of BI tools, including Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills with senior leadership
Proven experience in leading a team
Construction experience preferred but not required
