We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Walmart


As a technology leader in the Membership Experience Engineering team at Walmart, you will play a critical role in shaping the face of Walmart+, our cutting-edge membership experience. We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to help us design and improve customer membership experiences and build scalable platforms on mobile devices. Our team is dedicated to providing technology solutions that power shopping journeys that help hundreds of millions of customers live better.


What you'll do:




  • Troubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices by reviewing and analyzing information, engaging support teams, and performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

  • Design and develop SPLUNK and Prometheus dashboards to monitor W+ platform and BE services performance, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements, translating them into Node and Java-based solutions for the W+ platform, and conducting testing to ensure solution functionality.

  • Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects, identifying customer and operational needs, measuring progress, and adjusting performance accordingly.

  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance and utilizing the Open-Door Policy.

  • Ensure business needs are met by evaluating ongoing effectiveness, consulting with business partners, and participating in community outreach events.



What you'll bring:




  • 7+ years of professional experience in backend development (Java), and hands-on coding experience. Having a full-stack software development experience is a plus.

  • Experience with consumer-facing apps, e-commerce, or retail shopping.

  • Hands-on experience building scalable backend systems and platforms.

  • Previous work experience in designing and developing features for Java and Node-based services for the W+ Membership platform.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in SPLUNK MMS dashboards creation and comfortable with SQL queries writing.

Sunnyvale, California US-04397:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00




























Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
