Wintrust is seeking an experienced recruiter to join our expanding Talent Acquisition team.   You will have a seat at the table developing full life cycle recruiting strategies while working on a world-class Talent Acquisition team.

What you’ll do:


  • Engage in full cycle recruiting with a high-touch, consultative approach

  • Responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, job offer creation and negotiation with potential new employees

  • Strong consultative skills advising the business on how to select the best talent for their team 

  • Well versed in external sourcing techniques.  Implement and embed sourcing strategies to identify and attract diverse talent

  • Develop positive relationships with leadership and HR to establish a proven understanding of strategic/financial objectives and how they relate to hiring needs

  • Showcase your experience and skills by providing consultative talent acquisition guidance to business leaders, ensuring the alignment to key objectives

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific performance results desired for each role

  • Provide frequent touch points with hiring managers on progress and results

  • Continually build a talent pipeline to solve future business needs

Qualifications:


  • 5-10 years recruiting experience, ideally within a banking environment

  • Experience recruiting in a corporate environment required

  • Strong ability to influence, lead and partner across business lines and levels throughout the organization

  • Outstanding interpersonal/networking skills to attract and source a diverse candidate pool

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Prior experience using an ATS (such as Workday) to track workflow and documentation

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
