What you will do

As the Reliability Specialist II, you will lead our efforts to improve OEE efficiency in Powerframe and Poly manufacturing areas.  You will be responsible for the transition of our facilities maintenance contractor, as well as measuring, reporting, and improving the 3 OEE metrics of Availability, Quality, and Performance.  Utilizing Lean Sigma tools such as Kanban, Visual Management, 5S, 5Y, 8D, PDCA, Cause and Effect, RCCA, and RAIL, you will engage the cross functions to improve equipment reliability and maintainability processes, using Total Productive Maintenance strategies. 

You will lead efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.  You will monitor, track and adjust as required to exceed minimum OEE expectations and maximum downtime expectations and improvements.

How you will do it


  • Facilitate the development of RCM and ensure reliability of equipment strategies to improve Original Equipment Efficiency.

  • Contract management and contingency planning

  • Project parallel and series activities, resource balancing, and critical path reporting via timeline roll ups.

  • Regular CAPEX updates through entire process.

  • RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Action), PDCA (Plan Do Check Act), PFMEA, & Cause-Effect analysis portfolios for regular maintenance.

  • Provides training to PdM Technicians.  You will coordinate the Oconee Plant maintenance strategies such as Total Productive Maintenance, Basic Attention to Equipment, and Technical Attention to Equipment (TPM, BAE, & TAE) disciplines for Powerframe & Poly plants.

  • Support LOTO documentation, efficiency, and accuracy, including incorporating regular audits

  • Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers.

  • Participates in the final check out of new installations. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications.

What we look for

Required

  • A commitment toward continuing education with a local vocational or online school for additional certifications, for example PMP certification.

Preferred


  • Maintenance or maintenance scheduling experience for complicated plant equipment is preferred.

  • Shop floor supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Maximos, Power BI, SAP experience is a plus.

  • Must understand the application of Lean Six Sigma Tools, Maximo, and Total Productive Maintenance methodologies.

  • Should have good oral/written communication skills and possess strong plant level business acumen.
