The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.The Shipyard Lead is responsible for the overall operational function of the shipyard/dry dock facility projects.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work within the guidelines and parameters as established by Company Safety Manual, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Assign daily work tasks to employees and ensures execution of all tasks within the shipyard/dry dock facility.
Troubleshoot all equipment failures and act accordingly.
Understand the basic operations of all equipment used at the shipyard/dry dock facility.
Train and guide others to ensure employees are following the company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Must be able to work well with employees as well as contractors.
Must be able to work with care, without danger to themselves or others.
Coordinate with and work with upper management on timelines, task, and project completion percentages, and budgets.
Work with subcontractors on priorities and timeliness of specific tasks
#IND123The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
A minimum of a high School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
Valid TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) is required.
One or more years supervisor experience is required.
Must have knowledge of shipyard/drydock operations.
The ability to read and write is required.
The ability to work in confined or small spaces is required.
Must possess a strong commitment to personal and job safety.
The ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties, and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions is required.
Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are detected.
Must be dependable and reliable, take pride in a job well done, and enjoy working hard.
Confined Space Certification is preferred.
Previous experience as a general laborer in oil and gas industry is preferred.
Must be a self-motivated individual able to work independently or in a team environment and willing to learn.
The ability to work indoors and outdoors under various normal and adverse weather conditions.
Must satisfactorily pass background, physical exam, and drug screens.
