The Sales Representative is directly responsible the sales of aglime and construction aggregates while maintaining the market share and average selling price for their assigned territory.

Responsible for meeting sales and volumes expectations for the District
Developing an accurate sales forecast
Effectively communicating with internal and external customers.
Understand the quality control specifications and standards for both agricultural lime products and construction aggregates.
Have basic knowledge of the aggregate mining and production process.
Accurately develop and track the sales project cycle to meet product balance with operations.
Responsible for meeting Average Selling Price, Gross Profit, and Pricing expectations.
Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customer base.
Responsible for collections.
Performs other incidental and related duties as required.

This position does not have direct reports.
Work Environment
This job operates 80% of the time in aggregate production facilities or customer job site locations. 20% of the time will be in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This role routinely spends most of the day in a car going between appointments and scouting potential projects. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software is important in this role.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours typically worked are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Travel will be frequent and primarily within the Nebraska Area. Out-of-area and overnight travel will be expected from time to time.
Required Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
