Role Description: As an all-source intelligence analyst for the red team, you study potential adversaries and use your vast experience to help build the adversary portion of the live force experimentation, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don't. We need your extensive knowledge, advisory skills, and connections to solve some of the DoD's most complex problems—and find solutions that keep our nation safe. As an experienced intelligence analyst, you'll bring your experience and technical expertise to work alongside thought leaders in the Experimental Design Branch (EDB) of the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL). You'll use your expertise to conduct adversary research, participate in planning and wargames, and providing threat analysis and assessments within the maritime domain. You served your country as a intelligence military expert, now use that expertise to create mission-forward solutions that matter.Who we are: At Threat Tec, reality matters. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough adversary research and actively participate in large scale live force experimentation planning, conferences, studies, and other activities.
Ensure that an adversary perspective and capabilities are consistently considered throughout the entire course of experiment or event planning.
Perform global, regional, and country threat assessments with a specific focus on near-peer threats (China, Russia) and 2+3 threats (North Korea, Iran, and Violent Extremist Organizations).
Address a wide variety of threat areas in the Maritime Domain (for example: Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS (C-UAS) capabilities, Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats, Insider Threats, Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and ballistic threats).
Interact and collaborate with DoD interagency partners to foster information exchange and cooperation.
Required Experience
Extensive experience in conducting adversary research, planning, wargames, and threat analysis for the DoD.
Exceptional communication skills and comfort briefing senior leaders, stakeholders, and key decision makers.
10+ years of experience supporting the U.S. Navy or Marine Corps.
1+ years of experience with medium to large scale training or exercise planning.
Strong knowledge and understanding of emergent and re-emergent threats, ranging from open source unclassified up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
Proven expertise in global, regional, and country threat assessment and analysis, with a focus on near-peer threats (China, Russia) and 2+3 threats (North Korea, Iran, and Violent Extremist Organizations).
In-depth understanding of various threat areas (for example IEDs, UAS and C-UAS capabilities, CEMA, CBRN threats, Insider Threats, Sub-T capabilities, WMD, AI, and ballistic threats).
TS/SCI clearance. Comfort with varying levels of classified documents, derivative classification requirements, and cross-domain transfer procedures.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex, dynamic environment.
Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, innovation, and dedication in a team-oriented environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with DoD interagency partners and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of COCOM TCP and TCO, GCPs, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Theater Security Cooperation Plans, including linkages to parallel national interests.
5+ years of experience in military operations.
