Responsibilities

The Business Development Associate acts as an internal and external liaison, information resource, and key point of contact for the MSL sales team. The Associate will manage inbound and outbound requests, schedule meetings, and prepare team members for interactions with key decision makers for prospective clients. The Associate will also collaborate across with multiple teams to provide service that drives the business forward and assists their counterparts in achieving their goals. Associates will gain professional experience, expertise on Kastle products, and industry knowledge.

  • Schedule meetings and calls with both external and internal stakeholders to meet desired metrics
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics to maintain pipeline data, track activities, pull reports, and update records
  • Prepare Business Development Managers for interactions with prospective and current partners by providing institution data, relationship history, and relevant market information
  • Work closely with sales leaders on strategies to secure new partners, renew existing partners, and/or maintain partner relationships with current partners
  • Develop and manage sales and renewal contracts
  • Assist in providing customer support to current partners
  • Make recommendations on best practices for process improvements to help operationalize business efficiencies
  • Participate in regular Associate training and development sessions
  • Special projects as needed, in support of the sales team


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least one year of professional sales experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities; demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks and activities efficiently and according to importance
  • Ability to take initiative on projects and through external interactions
  • Sales, account management, or project management experience
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience in an office setting
