Responsibilities
Provides a description of diagnosed problems to customer with solutions.
Explains the features and benefits of each
Cleans drains in homes using cable machines on main drains and secondary lines.
Unclogs sewers, kitchen and bathroom sinks, tubs, toilets, ect. using snakes and other equipment.
Can do plumbing repairs to code and pass inspection.
Maintain and fuel vehicle, maintain equipment in good working order.
Transports materials and tools to the job site and provides proper accounting of tools.
Completes all required documentation on services and collects payment at time of service for work done and turns into office.
Qualifications
Two or more years of related service plumbing experience, in addition to training.
Knowledge of plumbing codes.
Strong communication/ interpersonal skills.
The ability to regularly move , lift and carry objects weighing 60-100 lbs or more to include water heaters, tubs, and materials.
Must be able to climb ladders, work overhead, manipulate and maneuver tools
Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching and pulling required.
Willingness and ability to work an evening, and alternating weekends, with a 5 days work week.
Residential plumbing and drain cleaning experience is a must.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have a good driving record.
