The Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within each location. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive HR initiatives that align with the company's goals and values.
What you will do:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Manage employee benefits programs and ensure competitive compensation packages.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Support HR functions for four plants located in Greenville, SC; Hammond, IN; Camp Hill, PA; and Axis, AR.
Manage HR operations for two union sites, two non-union sites, and a joint venture.
Participate in union negotiations and maintain good working relationships with union representatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR management, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role and manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Bilingual in Spanish
30% Travel required
