Job Description:

The Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within each location. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive HR initiatives that align with the company's goals and values.

What you will do:


  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.

  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

  • Manage employee benefits programs and ensure competitive compensation packages.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.

  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make informed decisions.

  • Support HR functions for four plants located in Greenville, SC; Hammond, IN; Camp Hill, PA; and Axis, AR.

  • Manage HR operations for two union sites, two non-union sites, and a joint venture.

  • Participate in union negotiations and maintain good working relationships with union representatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR management, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role and manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Bilingual in Spanish

  • 30% Travel required
