Everest is seeking a Vice President, within its Shared Services group based in Warren, NJ. This position will oversee the global real estate activities of Everest including portfolio management, working with brokers, acquisitions/dispositions, developing business cases, and setting real estate strategy. We operate in a dynamic, fast paced agile environment and are looking for someone who will take initiative, manage multiple priorities, partner with liaison across geographies and is focused on improving the experience for our colleagues with well-designed workspaces that foster collaboration across our thriving and valued colleagues.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategic Planning and Management
Develop and implement our real estate strategy in alignment with company goals.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for property acquisitions, disposition and development.
Oversee the management of the company's real estate portfolio to optimize the performance and value.
Set location and build standards and best practices across the company.
Acquisitions and Dispositions
Lead the sourcing, negotiation and acquisition of new properties.
Manage the sale, sublet and/or reinstatement of properties, ensuring maximum return on investment.
Conduct due diligence, market analysis and financial modeling for potential transactions.
Monitor market trends to ensure advantageous competitive rental rates and terms.
Work with Landlords and Property Management companies on operational issues and budgets.
Property Development and Management
Oversee the direct development projects from initial concept to through completion for the workspace project managers within Corporate Services.
Relationship owner with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure portfolio of projects are completed on time and within budget.
Oversee property management activities including maintenance, operations and financial performance.
Financial Management
Develop and manage real estate budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
Ensure all real estate activities are aligned with financial objectives and corporate strategy.
Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the real estate portfolio.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the team to achieve objectives.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all real estate activities comply with local, state and federal regulations.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with real estate transactions and operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all real estate transactions and activities.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
10+ years of experience in real estate
Proven track record of successfully managing large real estate portfolios and development projects.
Excellent negotiation, analytical and financial modeling skills
Strong leadership capability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
