Our company is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform administrative office tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. This role provides administrative office support and support to the human resources function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Answers and directs departmental phone calls.
Receives and distributes office mail.
Organizing files, creating correspondence, and preparing reports or documents.
Monitoring, ordering & keeping inventory of Office Supplies.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Ensures integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Schedules and organizes appointments and calendars; takes minutes during departmental meetings.
Generates and proofreads documents and correspondence produced by the department.
Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate management HR.
Conducts or assists with new hire processes.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
