Industrial Electrician at Formica

Job Description:


Hourly pay: $35.88/hour + shift premium ($.90/hour) for off shifts

Overall, here’s what we need you to do:


  • Make electrical repairs and modifications to industrial equipment and systems

  • Set up and operate equipment according to industry standards

  • Clean and repair motors, power transformers, and substation connections

  • Install and adjust electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instruments and equipment

  • Calibrate and replace component & parts as needed

  • Conduct shop tests and maintain flame detector devices

  • Determine and locate materials needed for assignments

  • Order necessary parts as needed

  • Follow safety procedures and keep your work area clean

  • Perform preventive maintenance and test equipment for proper operation

"What qualifications do I need to be considered?"


  • At least 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience or have completed an accredited/certified Electrical Maintenance Apprenticeship program which included classroom-related instruction and on-the-job training

  • Self-directed and safety conscious

  • Industrial maintenance electrical skills

  • Troubleshooting experience using various techniques including PLC utilization. 

  • A proven ability to work in restricted areas, climb ladders/platforms and work at high elevations

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Available for night shifts with the opportunity for overtime when available

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • High School Diploma or GED
