The primary responsibility of an OCM Specialist I is to execute change management strategies and plans aimed at maximizing associate and customer adoption and minimizing resistance. Collaborating with key stakeholders and program teams, the OCM Specialist I will drive accelerated adoption, increased utilization, and enhanced proficiency in changes affecting associate and customers. This effort aims to amplify benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and overall achievement of desired results and outcomes within the organization.
What You Will Do to Contribute to the Company's Success
Assist with plan development and implement change management strategies, plans, and activities to support the adoption of new processes, systems, and organizational structures while coordinating efforts with other OCM specialists.
Partner with change management team members to conduct impact assessments to identify and analyze, potential risks, challenges, resistance to change and opportunities associated with organizational changes and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate change management principles and practices into project management methodologies and organizational processes.
In consultation with change management leadership, create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
Collaborate with project managers on enterprise-wide initiatives, such as new system implementations, and mergers and acquisitions that affect both our customers and associates.
Create communication plans, project plans and materials to effectively communicate changes to associates, stakeholders, and other relevant parties, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the change process.
Collaborate and partner with project teams, HR, stakeholders, and leadership to align change management activities with project objectives and business objectives.
In partnership with change management team members, provide coaching, training, and support to leaders and associates to build change readiness and resilience, facilitate transition, and promote adoption of new behaviors and ways of working.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change management activities, track progress against objectives, and identify areas for improvement.
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in organizational change management and apply knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Skills and Qualifications
Change management experience preferred.
General understanding of change management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience with project management methodologies and change management tools/software is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to develop and execute change management plans, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Ability and desire to understand the bigger picture; demonstrated proactive approach with a growth mindset.
Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience with project management methodologies and change management tools/software is a plus.
Change management certification is a plus.
