Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience leading a Scrum team focused on edge software development. As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities


  • Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for edge software development, aligning with the company's goals and customer needs, driven my the Offer Marketing Owner and orchestrated with the Sr. Offer Technical Lead, Architects, other Technical Product Owners in the program and other key stakeholders.

  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable features and enhancements.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and development teams, to gather requirements and ensure alignment on product goals.

  • Sprint Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions, defining clear and achievable goals for each sprint and ensuring the team has a well-defined backlog.

  • Feature Definition: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that features are well-defined and understood by the development team.

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the Scrum team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the team by identifying and implementing process enhancements and best practices.

  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance metrics, ensuring that the product meets quality standards and delivery timelines.

  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your technical expertise to make informed decisions and provide valuable insights during product development.


Qualifications


  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant field is a plus.



  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a SAFe environment.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe.

  • Experience with edge computing and software development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts.

  • Preferred Qualifications:


Preferred Qualifications


  • Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or similar certification.

  • Experience with enterprise software development programs.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
