We invite applications for a part-time specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at our Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center.
In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.
MAPMG physicians are work without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.
What You Can Expect:
A collegial team of pain and functional medicine professionals including Rehabilitation, Interventional Pain, Chronic Pain, Pain Psychology, Neurology, and Orthopedic specialists.
Outpatient PMR role with No call or weekends
A consult mix of >90% MSK and the rest is a mixture of post-acute rehab and neuromuscular rehab & EMG
No chronic opioid management required. We practice opioid-spring approaches and have a dedicated Comprehensive Chronic Pain Management Program
Ultrasound availability
Complementary and Integrative Health resources are also available, along with dedicated Health Coaching services for further support.
Minimum Requirements:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Eligible in Physician Medicine and Rehabilitation
Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
MAPMG Physicians:
Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care
Complete professional liability coverage including malpractice insurance provided at no cost
The starting hourly rate for this position is $132.00 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
Effective July 1, 2025, the starting hourly rate for this position will increase to $139.
