Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $44,200 - Midpoint: $55,300 (Salaried E6)

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings & weekends required
Job Summary: The Women and Gender Resource Program Coordinator oversees and coordinates program(s) that further the mission of the Women and Gender Resource Center.
Additional Department Summary: The Women and Gender Resource Program Coordinator provides coordination of student peer education groups related to interpersonal violence (sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, etc.). Recruit, train, and supervise groups of student peer educators. Coordinate presentations and department sponsored outreach. Coordinate special events and programs for Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Facilitate training for faculty, staff, and students related to interpersonal violence. Complete required training and promoting a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace. Hold staff accountable for completion of required training. Has personal accountability for financial reporting and responsibility for establishing, enforcing, and following internal processes and controls as outlined in UA policies and procedures.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in violence / sexual assault prevention, working with peer education initiatives, communications, or student leadership.
Skills and Knowledge: Excellent public speaking skills. Ability to assist students in developing effective presentations. Ability to work with a group of students. Demonstrates commitment to supporting all students.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Women's/Gender Studies, Communication Studies, Human Development and Family Studies, Health Education, Educational Leadership, Higher Education, or other relevant field. Some experience in working with college students and / or in a supervisory capacity.
