Cub in Rochester on Scott Road is looking for Meat clerks. Meat clerk will provide wrapping, stocking and support for the meat and seafood department required to meet the daily sales and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. Primary emphasis in this position is maintaining the proper stock levels to ensure maximum department sales, product availability and provide high level of customer service. This position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous service, knowledge of meat and seafood, wrapping and labeling procedures, and food safety regulations.

Job Functions

• Assist customers
• Order meat and seafood products
• Wrap, weigh, price and label meat and seafood product
• Stock, rotate and face meat and seafood products
• Perform clean-up of department
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned or delegated

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Lifting/carrying to 50 lbs.
• Equipment operation (meat slicer and scale, intercom, telephone) reaching, standing, walking,
• Judgement/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing and math
• Occasionally lifting/carrying over 50 lbs.
• Equipment operation (calculator)
• Squatting, stooping/bending and walking

• 7am-4pm
• 2pm-10pm
