Summary: The Office Services Associate will perform a variety of mailroom / office services duties to ensure packages are shipped/received, documents are scanned/recorded and shipping projects are completed.
Responsibilities:
Arrange for and track incoming and outgoing shipments.
Determine shipping rates and other charges that apply.
Track shipments electronically and answer customers' questions about the status of their shipments.
Perform sorting, scanning, indexing and tracking of scanned records for all warehouses and departments.
Pickup and deliver mail and packages using the company van to all company locations, including Headquarters.
Pickup and deliver mail to Post Office at scheduled times.
Process outgoing mail using postage metering equipment and scales.
Place proper postage according to postal specifications and discount program guidelines.
Prepare documents for mailings by folding and inserting into envelopes using a computerized folding and inserting machine.
Assist various departments with misc. projects and requests to alleviate their work load.
This may include initial credit application processing, A/R tasks, document retrieval and sending correspondence to customers.
Manage copy center jobs and mass mailings for various departments using large volume copiers, following specific instructions, meeting requested deadlines and maintaining confidentiality of documents.
Receive incoming mail, sort by departments or other identifiable means.
Deliver to individual departments.
Complete other assignments as deemed appropriate by mgmt.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
0-1 years general office experience or equivalent.
May require licenses/certifications for operating company van, using worksaver and pallet truck.
Requires lifting of 30-40lb boxes.
Proficiency in Word/Excel; Good attendance; organizational skills; multi-tasking, team player.
