Pay Rate: $85,000 - 95,000 based on experience
Location: Blue Ash, Ohio office. Option to work a hybrid schedule once training period is complete.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for developing global import and export activities to ensure compliance with the U.S. and foreign customs laws and regulations as well as audit, maintain and perform all activities associated with Fechheimer's various customs initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Manage Fechheimer's Customs Compliance and Duty Management records.
Determine product HTS codes for import/export raw materials and products and maintain codes within ERP.
Enter applicable information into government portal to record activity
Create internal SOPs for all import/export documentation required. This may include international samples, requirements for commercial invoices and/or documentation required.
Collaborate and coordinate initiatives with International Sales, Supply Chain, Subcontractors, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Product Development and Ideation.
Monitor regulatory & legislative changes within the textile, apparel and accessory industry to ensure Fechheimer is providing up-to-date information and taking advantage of all available programs.
Performs duties consistent with the company's goals and policies.
Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years' experience in global trade compliance preferred
Experience with ISO quality management preferred
Strong interpersonal skills for working with various levels of management
Srong project management skills
Proactive in recognizing and adjusting to shifting priorities
Self-motivated and directed, capable of operating autonomously
Some travel may be required
