POSITION SUMMARY:


The Benefits Specialist is responsible for benefits administration and health and wellness programming.  The position provides support as necessary for the administration of Goodwill SWPA benefits and wellness, and operations of benefits for employees. This position provides excellent customer service and ensures compliance with all external laws and regulations as well as internal guidelines and policies. 


Duties will also include but are not limited to:



  • Manage administration of all employee benefit programs, including open enrollment coordination and data entry. Identify and implement programming to increase the quality of life for employees researching relevant benefits and working with brokers and HR Director to explore options.

  • Assist with configuration of UKG system for benefit enrollment and communication

  • Design and develop tools to assist employees in benefits selection, answering their questions in a timely manner.

  • Administer the processes associated with employee leave of absences including FMLA and STD.

  • Provide support to Department team members to help with their need for timely responses, information, and orientation of benefits for new hires.

  • Process and review related billing or other data collection and reporting, including cost analyses that may be used in making operational decisions.


 


External Hiring Range: $18.28-18.98/hour


Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8a-4p


Travel: No travel required


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of experience required. OR

  • Associate's degree AND 4 years of experience required. OR

  • Bachelor’s degree AND  2 years of experience required.


Required Experience:


HR generalist experience required.  Experience with benefits administration, applicable laws and regulations preferred.  Development and implementation of employee wellness programming experience a plus. 


REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:



  • Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints)
