Summary: Performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in the Clinical Laboratories. Routine job functions include specimen acceptance, accessioning, processing, performance of testing and quality control procedures, the use of various laboratory testing systems and information systems for result generation, reporting, and documentation.
Salary range for this position is $64,772 - $74,135 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position also offers an assignment differential of $4.00 hourly and a geographic differential of $4.60 hourly for a total compensation range of $82,709 - $92,072 annually. This position also offers a $10,000 sign on bonus.
Qualifications:Required Education and Experience License Requirement1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or 2. Eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.
Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline.
NOTE:1. As a condition of continued employment, full license eligible incumbents must obtain and maintain the full Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure in the State of New York within six (6) months of their appointment to this title. 2. Possession of the Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure supersedes educational requirements listed above, as stated in section 58-1.5 (b) of the NYS Codes, Rules and Regulations.

Current NYS Licensure/Eligibility
Previous/current experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion, Microbiology, or other specific laboratory disciplines
Previous/current experience in an oncology setting
Other relevant experience applicable to laboratory operations
Previous/current experience in a customer service setting
