Are you a data architecture and modeling expert with a passion for transforming data in the cloud? Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the transformation of data models from operational databases to AWS Cloud-based data lakes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Design and optimize logical and physical data models tailored for a data lakehouse environment, emphasizing performance, scalability, and adaptability.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to understand data structures, relationships, and quality within operational databases.
  • Translate complex data requirements into effective data models that support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
  • Leverage a strong understanding of financial business processes and data to inform data modeling and analysis efforts.
  • Implement and enforce data governance standards to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the data lakehouse.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data models meet business needs and technical requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship in data modeling and data analysis, sharing best practices and guiding junior team members.
Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture and data modeling, with a focus on cloud environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud services, specifically in data lake and data warehouse solutions.
  • Strong expertise in financial domain data, business processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, PowerDesigner) and SQL.
  • Deep knowledge of data analysis techniques and the ability to translate business needs into effective data models.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security practices, especially in the financial industry.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
