JOB DESCRIPTION
AVP, Westchester Casualty Claim Manager
This position will be responsible for the administrative management, staff development and technical claim results for the newly created Westchester's Commercial Casualty Claims Team. The individual will be responsible for delivering excellent financial and service results as well as a high-quality product involving commercial auto and casualty bodily injury and 3rd party property damage claims. The position will also be responsible for developing staff, succession planning and executing strategies to achieve goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient/consistent delivery of service to our customers and business partners that meets or exceeds Chubb's standards and complies with all applicable statutes/regulations within the assigned jurisdiction(s).
The desired candidate is service-oriented and results-driven and must also possess excellent administrative, leadership and organizational skills. Candidate must be able to make timely and appropriate decisions. Experience in performance management, training, staff development, and succession planning is a strong plus. Oversight of bodily injury and property damage claims ensuring consistent handling across all Westchester entities. This position will:
