Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of the company's accounting and internal control processes including; general ledger, project accounting/job cost ledger, revenue recognition using percent complete accounting, payroll, accounts payable automation/document management, accounts receivable, fixed assets, sales and use tax and working capital management.
Leads and provides direction to the financial/accounting department.
Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and effectively communicating the financial results to members of the management team.
Partners with the operational team to develop full and complete monthly financial forecasts, including the annual detail budget.
Contributes to the Company's strategic planning efforts.
Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of eight years of increasing financial accounting expertise with similar key position responsibilities.
CPA - Certified Public Accountant Certification.
Highly developed mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Supervisory or management experience.
A demonstrated high degree of integrity, motivation, with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation.
Adept problem solver with the ability to formulate practical and operational friendly solutions.
Advanced experience and command using the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Accounting/financial management experience in construction and/or manufacturing highly,
MBA or Master's in Accounting,
Advanced experience and command using Tier 2/Tier 1 integrated accounting software, (Penta, MS-D365)
