We are currently looking for an ambitious, creative, and talented engineer to join our Endovascular Robotics team to help us solve the most pressing challenges in aneurysm and stroke treatment. We are a global technology leader in robotic-assisted vascular interventions. We believe the combination of endovascular robotics, image guidance and dedicated devices will change the way neurovascular procedures will be done in the future, providing better outcomes and access to care for patients.
As a Robotics Innovation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Defining and developing concepts for future robotic enhancements
Co-developing robotic sub-systems and neurovascular devices to improve procedural safety and efficacy
Investigating and demonstrating feasibility of new diagnostic and treatment modalities on the robotic platform
Supporting development and testing of a novel robotic user interface to enhance physician capability
Assisting in characterization of the interaction of robotically manipulated devices and anatomical structures an input for robotic control
Required skills for the success of this role:
Minimum of 10 years electromechanical R&D engineering experience, preferably in medical device industry
Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering is required.
Must have Solidworks/PDM proficiency
LabVIEW and MATLAB Simulink proficiency desired
Must be a self-starter with strong leadership skills and deep technical competencies
Outstanding communication skills required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
