Equipment Technician II - Day Shift - Onsite

Innova Solutions has an immediate need for an Equipment Technician II onsite in Wilmer TX:


  • This job is onsite everyday in Wilmer TX

  • This job is slated as a three month contract to hire, paying in the $25-30/ hour range.

  • Candidate must be willing/able to work fulltime on W2, NO C2C or 1099 candidates can be considered
Shifts:

Work schedule 4-3,3-4 with rotating Wednesdays 12hour shifts.
(A) 6AM - 6 PM
  • Week 1 - Work (Sun - Wed) Off (Thu - Sat)
  • Week 2 - Work (Sun - Tue) Off (Wed - Sat)
(C) 6AM - 6 PM
  • Week 1 - Off (Sun - Wed) Work (Thu - Sat)
  • Week 2 - Off (Sun - Tue) Work (Wed - Sat)
Description:
  • Ability to train junior production personnel
  • Ability to solve complicated equipment malfunction independently and with minimum supervision
  • Generate and analyze data to effectively communicate reporting to leaders
  • Master the structure and working principle of factory production equipment and facilities, and learn and improve their own equipment maintenance skills and level.
  • Conduct regular and scheduled inspection of the production equipment in the factory to ensure that the equipment is in good condition and eliminate potential equipment failures.
  • Make daily operation records and maintenance records of the equipment system in a timely manner.
  • Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Assist with aligning machines and equipment during installation, using hoists, jacks, squares, ruler, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
  • Support in repairing any problems associated with new equipment.
  • Follow work arrangement, timely repair the faulty equipment reported for repair, and ensure the maintenance quality.
  • Maintain the equipment to prolong the longevity of service life and improve its utilization rate.
  • Strictly abide by the safety operation rules, maintenance rules, and installation standards and specifications of the equipment.
  • Perform other duties and special project, as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Associate degree or above in machinery, electronics and automation.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant practical work experience, familiar with photovoltaics manufacturing industry or semiconductor production industry is preferred.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and automation components preferred.
  • Good knowledge of pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, inspection and test equipment.
  • Ability to use data analysis tools such as MS Excel and other applications.
  • Dedicated and strive to achieve, hardworking and reliable, be able to adapt to shifts and work well under pressure.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently remains stationary up to 75% of the time
  • Frequently bend, stand, stoop and/or walk
  • Occasionally (Team Lift) carry weight and/or lift objects (light to moderate) weighing up to 20lbs.
  • Frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information
  • Frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, testing equipment, office documents, and office objects near and far
  • Occasionally ascends/descends on stairway to get to upper and lower floors
PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
