Your Opportunity
This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Compliance Specialist in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:
Designs, develops, and validates procedures to implement emergency plan(s).
Serves as subject matter expert and conducts training for on-site and off-site emergency responders.
Develops drill and exercise scenarios including serving as a scenario team leader, validating exercises, testing exercise performance on replica simulator and documenting exercise objectives.
Evaluates emergency response organization performance in drills and exercises.
Maintains emergency response facilities and equipment.
Interfaces with offsite agencies at the local, state, and federal level as needed in emergency preparedness and emergency response.
Conducts tests of emergency response equipment including radios, telephones, mobile telephones, monitoring equipment and alert notification equipment in accordance with department surveillance procedures.
Responsible for testing and maintenance of all fire extinguishing and suppression systems including, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, etc.
Responsible for various sampling programs such as Legionella, stormwater discharge, etc.
Responsible for waste storage, processing and recycling program.
Oversees and maintains various aspects of the emergency preparedness program such as AEDs, SCBAs, medical supplies, emergency response team supplies, etc.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $63,000 - $82,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
