The School of Accounting (SOA) within the Spears School of Business (SSB) at the Oklahoma State University invites applications for two tenure track Faculty Positions in Accounting at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor starting August 2025 at our main campus in Stillwater. JOB DESCRIPTION:
All candidates must have and maintain qualifications for AACSB accreditation by conducting and publishing scholarly research, attending professional conferences and workshops, providing editorial service, etc. The primary responsibilities for this position include research, teaching, and engaging in service activities for the academic discipline, the School of Accounting, and the Spears School of Business. We have teaching needs in all areas, but particularly in tax. We are open to all areas of research. A successful candidate could be considered for a 3-course (9-hour) annual teaching load. Research and travel support will be provided. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: An earned doctorate in accounting or strong evidence that the doctoral degree will be completed before August 1, 2025. Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level. Candidates must be able to teach successfully at the undergraduate and master's levels. Candidates must be academically qualified upon the start date and must maintain qualifications. Desirable Qualifications: We are especially interested in candidates who have a publishing record in top academic accounting journals, who indicate an interest in and ability to work with PhD students, and who will continue to produce research of excellent quality that will have a high impact on the field.
