We have an exciting position open within Caterpillar as a Senior Manager - Data Analytics for the Earthmoving Division, a multi-billion dollar division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team that will provide analytics, reporting, and systems leadership across the organization. You will be responsible for developing tools that will help provide valuable insights to Senior Leadership. Additionally, this role will be key in further implementing the Global Finance strategy within Earthmoving.
What You Will Do:
Continued development and execution of Earthmoving Mission Control initiatives.
Drive governance within the division focused on standardized and sustainable reporting.
Implement new analytical tools to continuously improve the financial analysis and business insights of the division.
Effectively lead, influence, and interact with a global and diverse team. Focus on talent development, succession planning, performance management, and target setting.
Identify, establish, prioritize, and communicate goals and objectives of the team.
Communicate effectively within the team and with internal and external customers, including presentations to all levels of management.
Lead system development and process improvement projects.
Partner across the enterprise to support key projects related to Global Finance strategy initiatives.
What You Will Have:
Education/Experience: 4-year degree; 7-+ years of related experience
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Demonstrated strong analytical, planning, process improvement, problem solving & human relation skills
Displays intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new tasks with strong attention to details

Proven positive results in customer service and business partnering

This position will be located in our Peoria, IL office
This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office
