RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Workday Product Owner in Mesa, AZ.

Overview:
The Workday Product Owner is responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for the Workday platform within the organization. This role acts as the liaison between stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring the successful development and enhancement of Workday features based on business needs. The Product Owner prioritizes the backlog, clarifies user stories, and ensures that Workday solutions align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Workday Product Owner will develop and maintain the product vision and roadmap for Workday, ensuring it aligns with the business's overall strategy

  • Gather and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into well-defined user stories

  • Maintain a clear and actionable product backlog for the Workday development team, prioritizing features based on business impact

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday, advising on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices

  • Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure proper implementation of features

  • As a Workday Product Owner, you will monitor the progress of Workday updates and enhancements, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet stakeholder expectations

  • Stay updated on Workday's latest features, updates, and industry best practices to inform product decisions







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Workday in a product owner or business analyst capacity

  • Strong understanding of Workday modules, especially in HR, payroll, and finance

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
