Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal.
Perform routine maintenance on critical building systems such as HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, fire suppression, dock equipment, etc.
Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
Operate heavy machinery to include scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
Replacing light bulbs, wall sockets, machine power drops and switch covers as needed in conjunction with facilities maintenance.
Experience running electrical conduit.
Understanding of electrical theory, motor theory, and wiring.
Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, transformers, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
