Description
Join the Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) team as a QC Inspector in our IMS Finishing operation. We are looking for 12-hr day shift (6am-6pm) QC Inspector to become an integral part of our team! The QC Inspector will work under minimal supervision, performing moderately difficult functions associated with quality control procedures related to finishing production or operations.
The QC Inspector will be responsible for:
Performing initial and final inspection of manufacturing goods / products related to finishing department.
Performing accurate verifications on various testing equipment and tools used to measure quality to ensure accuracy and compliance to equipment standards.
Performing sampling and quality inspections on pre-mass and test trial material as needed and pre-determined by technical management
Performing various tests on in-process materials to determine coating quality and printability and ensure materials meet pre-determined standards/specifications.
Performing final visual inspections of finish good rolls before shipment.
Assisting slitting production on material quality handling and disposition.
Placing non-conforming and out of specification material on hold.

High School or better.
Experience
Required
Minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience with at least 2 years of progressively difficult, related quality testing experience.Basic technical knowledge of quality assurance/quality control standards and testing equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes. Must be able to speak and understand basic instructions in English. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to record data accurately. Must have the ability to solve routine inspection problems.Basic math skills, including metric units, calculating factions and decimals required.
