Cutaneous Oncology Fellow

Overview
The Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship involves training in the following areas:
Surgical management of patients with cutaneous tumors
Leadership of ground breaking trials in cutaneous oncology
Assist in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction
Manuscript preparation and submission
Participate in regularly held journal clubs and reconstruction conferences
Attend surgical conferences (ACMS and ASDS) and build network of surgical dermatologists and fellowship directors
Attend quarterly Oregon Dermatologic Society meetings
Applicants will perform dermatological procedures and provide an outstanding level of professional performance (e.g. quality of clinical care for clinical faculty, quality of administrative function in education office). Professional performance is to be delivered in a manner that is compliant with the OHSU Code of Conduct. Appointee shall treat all patients, trainees, and co-workers with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
Applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree and Board certification/eligibility in Dermatology as well as experience in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients with cutaneous diseases. Applicants should expect to do at least 1 full day of general dermatology and two half days of excisions per week.
