Your new company


Our client, a well-known GC based in Northern Virginia, is seeking to hire a Mid-Level Estimator to join their experienced team of four to be based in their Northern Virginia office. They have a diverse portfolio of projects, where you will have the opportunity to lead on bids across various sectors including commercial office, corporate interiors, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, education, data centers, retail and multifamily. Their projects range in size from small-scale renovations to large, complex developments. Due to company growth, they are looking for a talented estimator to join the team.



Your new role


As an estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, analyze project specifications and requirements, develop detailed and competitive bids for potential projects. Request and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Calculate material, labor and equipment costs needed for project completion. Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project budgets are met and costs are controlled.



What you'll need to succeed

• You will have 5+ years of estimating experience within a General Contractor environment.
  
  


• Experienced in either interior or base building construction.
  
  


• Possess strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

What you'll get in return

• Base salary $80,000 - $100,000
