Overview

Lutron has an immediate opening for a Senior Visual Designer to join our Creative Services team out of our Conshohocken, PA office. You will work with a creative team to develop marketing collateral that is consistently high-quality and on-brand and achieve their intended goals. As a Senior Visual Designer, you will create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the company’s message, engage the target audience, and drive desired actions. To be successful, you must exhibit outstanding design judgment and work collaboratively with the project manager and creative team to achieve the highest possible standards for all materials.

Responsibilities

• Execute the design of marketing assets as specified by creative briefs under the direction of creative leadership and the program team
• Work on projects from initial development to final execution and production with great attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
• Collaborate closely with other creative teams, such as the copy and web design teams, to ensure that all visual and verbal elements align with the overall brand guidelines, project objectives, and narrative
• Work with internal stakeholders, including the marketing and sales teams, to understand each project’s requirements and goals
• Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions
• Assist creative leadership in improving the conceptual, technical, and creative performance of staff within your team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices to ensure the company’s visual communications remain fresh, relevant, and impactful
• Be a steward of good design to ensure deliverables meet or exceed design objectives

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in digital and print visual design
• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
• Portfolio that shows strategic and conceptual design applied across a range of print and digital media, including ads, brochures, social media content, sell sheets, and sales presentations
• Proven sense of visual style: strong layout, typography, and visual design standards
• Domestic and International travel a possibility
• A passion for quality and craft
