Our Akron, Ohio headquarters is seeking an Intern/Co-op to join our Communication s & Marketing team. The internship will provide an educational, hands-on experience to students pursuing careers in Communications under the guidance of the Director, Communications & Marketing .

This is a Spring 202 5 intern/co-op position. The selected candi date must commit to working part-time (16 hours/week) during the Spring semester

• W rite and edit internal and external communications including announcements, video scripts, briefing documents, newsletters , and related materials.
• D evelop material for and update the company's internal and external website s .
• S upport social media efforts .
• A ssist with special events planning and community relations activities.
• S upport other Communications & Marketing department initiatives and activities .

• Currently enrolled in an accredited four-year program, working towards a degree in communications, journalism , or a related field .
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher, preferred .
• S trong writing and editing skills .
• H ave demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products .
• The ideal candidate must be able to successfully manage a number of priorities in a fast-paced environment .
• Capacity to handle confidential information .
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills .
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
