Description: seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Production Planning Manager to lead production scheduling and planning at our Texas plant, collaborating across teams to ensure seamless operations.
*SALARY-$75,000 to $85,000
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with Procurement to verify material availability (e.g., ensuring chicken supply for production) and create aligned production plans.
Execute production plans that optimize efficiency, meet customer delivery timelines, and align with capacity forecasts.
Collaborate across functions to meet supply chain goals and mitigate potential production risks.
Drive material strategy, collaborating with Sales, Procurement, and Logistics to forecast and fulfill orders.
Manage the scheduling and sourcing of raw materials, aligning with purchase orders and sales projections.
Coordinate with international manufacturing sites for sourcing and logistics, including operations in France and Thailand.
Lead project teams to execute complex production schedules, monitoring timelines, costs, and quality standards.
Travel up to 30% as needed.
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years in supply chain, production planning, or related fields.
Experience with integrated planning/production systems, procurement workflows, and forecasting.
Demonstrated ability in managing cross-functional projects from start to finish.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required; Master's preferred.
