Job Description:

HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR EXTON OFFICE



Job Purpose:



Our Sourcing Coordinator will support Sourcing Specialists and Sales Representatives with the coordination of sourcing requests and RFQs, recommend opportunities to preferred suppliers, and influence cost reductions through alignment with the Veritiv sourcing strategy. This position will work directly with Veritiv Sales Representatives, Sourcing Specialists and supply partners to prepare documentation for RFQ submittal and will assist the Field Sourcing Team with validation of local opportunities" on Corporate/National accounts to ensure contracts are taken into consideration during the local sourcing event.



Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate sourcing requests and work with other team members to ensure customer requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate multi-category sourcing requests using Smartsheet/Excel, Salesforce.com and other tools as required.
• Monitor stakeholder progress and aggregate responses.
• Identify, assess and escalate sourcing events at risk.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Support sales organization by adhering to process management culture.
• Ensure compliance with Veritiv preferred supplier strategies.
• Assist with both MLA and Field Sourcing overflow volume during peak events and complete administrative and clerical duties as required.

Work Experience:

• 1-3 years of related job experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
• Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
• Strong planning and organization skills are required.



Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
