Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Lead located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Lead role involves responsible for providing leadership and direction to groups of non-exempt employees

What a typical day looks like:


  • Provide performance feedback to supervisors and coordinate departmental resource requirements.

  • Communicate daily priorities to the team and lead efforts to meet production goals.

  • Identify and address material shortages, ensuring production lines are adequately supplied.

  • Update communication reports for effective information flow between shifts regarding downtime.

  • Monitor quality indicators and address any performance issues promptly.

  • Mentor and motivate employees while identifying training needs for performance improvement.

  • Promote compliance with 5S+1 practices and serve as the first point of contact for supervisors.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:


  • Successful completion of company required training may be required.

  • Is proficient in all Flex technologies and manufacturing techniques.

  • Demonstrates a high level of competency and functional/ process knowledge while leading manufacturing processes.

  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques and may improve processes by applying new techniques.

  • Serves as an expert/consultant in manufacturing and has advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

  • Ability to speak and understand English.
