Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Functional Analyst to join our Drupal Web Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing team processes, enhancing documentation practices, and understanding the quality assurance (QA) methodologies that ensure the delivery of high-quality web solutions. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and project stakeholders to document processes, define testing requirements, create comprehensive test plans, maintain regression testing protocols.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Process Review and Definition:

    • Analyze and document existing team processes related to web development and QA.

    • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and propose optimized workflows.




  • Documentation:

    • Develop and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for processes, testing requirements, and project specifications.

    • Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members & stakeholders.




  • Quality Assurance Understanding:

    • Gain a thorough understanding of the QA processes used by the team, including manual and automated testing methodologies.

    • Work with QA engineers & development to identify testing needs and help refine testing strategies.




  • Testing Requirements Definition:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define detailed testing requirements for new features and updates.

    • Ensure that testing criteria align with business objectives and user needs.




  • Test Plan Development:

    • Review test plans to ensure they outline testing scope, objectives, resources, schedule, and deliverables.

    • Coordinate testing activities and ensure they are executed according to the established test plans.




  • Regression Testing Maintenance:

    • Define and document regression testing requirements for existing software features.

    • Maintain and update regression test cases to ensure continued software quality with each release.




  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Act as a liaison between development, QA, and business teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

    • Participate in team meetings, provide updates on process changes, documentation, testing progress, and highlight any potential risks or issues.



Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years Experience required

  • Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role that specializes in business process flow and data modeling.

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.

  • Experience with test planning, execution, and regression testing methodologies.

  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Drupal, Miro, JIRA, Selenium, Confluence, Salesforce, & Polarian)

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating skills are critical.

  • Excellent diagraming, writing skills. Must have the ability to express strategy, technical knowledge, and processes in easily understood presentations.

  • Positive, results-driven, rational, logical, team player.

Travel: Minimal travel will be required.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $59,600.00 - $89,450.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
