RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will involve construction inspection, surveying, dam safety support, design, project management, and construction management.
Provide support to engineering staff for capital and operational projects.
Work under direction of engineers to perform engineering tasks including:
Civil Engineering Design
Construction oversight
Field construction/quality control project implementation
Other engineering related work as assigned
Must be:
Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, stay organized, and finish assigned tasks in a timely manner
Able to comprehend and interpret construction drawings
Punctual, flexible, willing to take on tasks to completion, and detail oriented
Able to work with groups and project teams, and have excellent verbal and written communication skill
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be currently enrolled in an engineering Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 to June 2027
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude
DETAILS & DURATION OF INTERNSHIP:
This internship will be reporting in person to Duluth, MN
This role is expected to begin May or June 2025
The internship will be full time during summer with the possibility of extending to part-time during academic terms up until graduation
