This internship will last for 8 to 9 weeks. While the successful candidate will learn about our whole business, most of their time will be spent focusing on the commercial side; in roles such as Estimating, Sales, and Project Management. Interns will work 40 hours per week, earn a competitive wage, and travel approximately 25-35% (day and overnight travel). Housing resources are available. All business-related expenses are reimbursed.
Spend time with various departments to understand our whole business.
Learn about general business, estimating, sales, and project management.
Visit outside sales offices, jobsites, as well as other Nucor divisions.
Strengthen team-building skills while working with other interns on assigned projects and attend the Nucor Intern Summit.
Opportunity to present projects and findings throughout the summer.
Potential full-time conversion would require initial and future relocation to district offices and/or manufacturing plant locations across the U.S.

Minimum Requirements:
Major in Business, Management, Construction, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Sales, or similar.
Valid state Driver's License with own mode of reliable transportation.
Preferences:
Undergraduate student going into Junior or Senior year.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.
High level of professionalism and ability to work with a myriad of professionals in the industry.
