Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Regional Vice President with extensive experience in the electrical contracting industry. This role involves overseeing all sales and operational functions for a designated region, managing large teams, and ensuring safety, productivity, and profitability. The ideal candidate should have connections within the electrical contracting industry, preferably with companies such as E-Light, Encore Electric, Kenny Electric, and others, and be experienced in running operations generating $120-125 million in revenue. This position offers stock options and a car allowance.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage regional operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality control.
Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance profitability and efficiency.
Oversee recruitment, movement, and management of manpower to meet project demands.
Manage preconstruction, estimating teams, and field staff development through training and mentoring.
Work with the Board of Directors to set and meet profit goals.
Maintain strong client and industry relationships to ensure business growth.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, legal requirements, labor laws, and safety protocols.
Represent the company at industry events, charity, and employee functions.
Develop process improvements and ensure quality assurance in all regional projects.
Proactively address any jobsite or staff-related issues to avoid compromising safety or production.
Lead key sales pursuits and client presentations.
Travel up to 50% as needed to meet regional leadership requirements.
Qualifications
5+ years in a senior leadership role within the electrical contracting industry.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong experience managing large-scale operations and achieving profit goals.
Knowledge of strategic planning, financial reports (P&L statements, balance sheets), and labor productivity.
Experience in contract negotiation, compliance with safety regulations, and industry-specific laws.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in public speaking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, and other project management software.
Experience in conflict management and negotiation strategies.
