SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assigning work areas to HACCP techs and is also responsible for:
Monitoring and reviewing HACCP control points
Performing daily data verification tasks on HACCP and SSOP records
Conducting daily pre-operational inspections on various departments throughout the plant
Having a working knowledge of HACCP and SSOP procedures throughout the plant
Completing all necessary documentation following up of noncompliance
Reporting the effectiveness of preventive measures conducting SSOP and GMP audits
Monitoring and enforcing GMP policies.
Other duties include:
Monitoring the pest control program
Performing computer entry for HACCP and SSOP program documentation
Assisting with plant foreign materials findings investigation
Assisting team members in case of emergencies or during slack time
Performing thermometer calibrations
Informing the supervisor of any mechanical breakdown or problem
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Experience is preferred but not required; must attend HACCP training.
ComputerSkills: Basic computer skills.
CommunicationSkills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Specific Skills: Must have basic math skills, ability to read and write, and must be able to meet essential job functions for this job classification
