Our precast company is a leading producer of architectural and structural wall panels, and the nation's largest producer of precast concrete parking structures. We've provided structure and enclosure systems, components, and accessories for virtually every kind of project including corporate, cultural, government, educational, institutional, multi-unit residential buildings, sports stadiums and arenas, retail, industrial, correctional facilities, and warehouse structures. We are currently seeking a Field Hardware Liaison  to join our winning team!


We are looking for a Field Hardware Liaison to oversee the procurement, organization, coordination and delivery of all materials required for job site operations. This position will work with the Purchasing and Project Management team to ensure our employees have the resources they need. 


This is a 1st shift position, working Monday-Friday out of our Denver, PA plant location.


This position will require candidates to perform the following duties:



  • Be alert to piece/BOM releases daily to take immediate action regarding site hardware, remedials and revisions. Collaborate with purchasing to decide the quickest way to receive the essential materials.

  • Analyze engineering department remedial notification forms, interpret the prints included, or ask the Project Manager for additional prints if required, and order the necessary hardware.

  • Evaluate the site hardware BOM and decide on pulling material from stock, making in house, or creating the necessary requisitions to procure the hardware from vendors, depending on demand in SAP.

  • Inspect the erection hardware BOM and the special material BOM and compare purchase orders to confirm that the hardware was ordered and will be here punctually.

  • Material requested by Project Manager / Site Representative(s) should be handled in a timely manner by deciding whether we can pull from stock, make in house, or generate requisitions to procure hardware from vendors.

  • Communicate with the vendor(s) as needed to determine timelines and expectations for hardware deadlines.

  • Work with the receiver on incoming shipments to verify counts, palletize, wrap, tag, and stage hardware purchased for advanced pre-weld, site mockup, site/CIP, and erection hardware.

  • Utilize the implemented Crate System for Erection hardware shipments, including diagram design, Pre-building crate to send to vendors to load hardware shipments, inventory return crates before sending to site, and decommission after site completion.

  • Check the schedule for upcoming shipping dates and act accordingly. Confirm hardware is at the plant and staged to be loaded.

  • Consult with internal shipping department to determine if there are trailers heading to the site that hardware can be loaded onto or arrange shipments with outside vendors (acquire a quote and enter a requisition as needed).Issue materials to corresponding jobs to remove the inventory from our system.

  • Create BOL’s for materials that leave our location. File these documents for future reference.

  • Maintain documents and accurate records on what was ordered , shipped, and returned to inventory.

  • Maintain and monitor of project budgets for advanced pre-weld, site/CIP, and erection hardware for reporting monthly to project specific Project Manager

  • Inventory all returned hardware from completed jobs to be utilized on future projects. Maintain tracking sheet of inventory.

  • Run/personally deliver required hardware to jobsites, as needed.

  • Other related functions as required by direct Supervisor


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Forklift Experience 

  • Valid Driver's License

  • SAP Experience preferred
